I love shows that have ambition. And this one has ambition in droves. It’s a story that spans millennia and 62 episodes. It made me cry all the time, and also made me think. Why can’t we have nice things like this instead of yet another generic fantasy world isekai?
It took some decisions I question, for sure, but it had a vision and I respect that.
