Jesus fucking Christ.
You know, what originally really got me into anime was (a) Code Geass and (b) reading Narutaru. This is a great show in the second tradition so you know I’m going to love it.
Shit’s fucked up. I cried. Multiple times.
Was possibly a slight cop out with the ending but I’m fine with it. They had enough suffering to earn it.
What made this especially brutal is how just when you start to feel one way about a character, they do something (completely within character) that makes you feel exactly the opposite way.
Storytelling – A – Honestly, pretty hard to watch.
Voice – A – Love how this is presented through the eyes of Takopii. Makes it so much worse.
Characters – A – Too real.
Attention Grab – A – Yeah, not gonna forget this…
