It has been nearly seven months since MVM Entertainment released the Collector’s Edition of Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 & 2 Collection on Blu-Ray in the UK, and today the distributor have confirmed that a Standard Edition variation of the set will be making its way to shelves next year.
Scheduled to release on the 23rd March 2026, and currently available to pre-order as an early-bird deal on the Anime-On-Line Store, the Standard Edition of Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 & 2 Collection combines both Season 1 and Season 2 in to a single Blu-Ray set. As such fans will find all 25 episodes across 4 Blu-Ray discs in both English & Japanese with English subtitles. The discs will be the same as the previous standard edition, and individual season, releases of the series.
Synopsis: Nanami Momozono was just a normal teenage girl down on her luck until a stranger’s lips marked her as the new Land God and turned her world upside down. Now, she’s figuring out the duties of a deity with the help of Tomoe, a reformed fox demon who reluctantly becomes her familiar in a contract sealed with a kiss.
The new responsibilities – and boys – are a lot to handle, like the crow demon masquerading as a gorgeous pop idol and the adorable snake spirit who’s chosen the newly minted god to be his bride. As the headstrong Tomoe tries to whip her into shape, Nanami finds that love just might have cute, pointed fox ears. With romance in the air, will the human deity prove herself worthy of her new title?
Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 & 2 Collection is currently available as a Collector’s Edition and each season is available individually on Blu-Ray. This Standard Edition set of the Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 & 2 Collection meanwhile will be available from 23rd March 2026. We do expect that general retail listings (at Amazon UK, HMV, etc) will become available in the coming weeks.
