Winx Club: The Magic is Back game revealed for 2026 release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC

Rainbow and Maximum Entertainment have recently announced a new partnership that will see a game based upon the new Winx Club: The Magic is Back animated series being released onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Windows PC next year.

As described in the press release this new game will brings the Winx fairies to life like never before, where players will be able to combine magical combat, puzzle-solving, and cooperative gameplay. Naturally the game will recreate environments and locations from the Winx universe, such as the halls of Alfea College, Enchanted Forest, the Coastal Cliffs, and the mysterious Desert Ruins of Red Fountain. Additionally players will be able to instantly switch between all six fairies, each with their own distinctive magical abilities,and enjoy two-player local co-op.

Here is what Joanne Lee, Chief Content Officer at Rainbow, had to say about this new partnership with Maximum Entertainment and the development of the Winx Club: The Magic is Back game.

As a reminder Winx Club: The Magic is Back is currently available to stream on BBC iPlayer and Netflix in the UK. The game meanwhile is expected to release in April 2026 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam).
