A new listing on Amazon UK has revealed that the Standard Edition Blu-Ray for Macross Plus – Movie Edition will be released on the 30th March 2026 by Anime Limited. Previously the film was only available as part of the Ultimate Edition, and the Sharon Apple Edition, both of which were released back in 2024.
This Standard Edition Blu-Ray release of Macross Plus is, as described, and as such only contains the Movie Edition of the title, with it being presented in Japanese with English subtitles. The set is also listed to have have a wide-selection of bonus features, including promotional videos and special message from Shoji Kawamori.

About: The year is 2040 and the galaxy is flourishing with several colonies and advanced technology. AI is near perfection and the current top idol is the near-completed Virturoid Idol Sharon Apple.
