NIS America have recently announced that the farming simulator Honogurashi no Niwa will be released as Village In The Shade for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam) later this year in Europe and North America.
Developed by Nippon Ichi Software, Inc., the team responsible for Disgaea and Phantom Brave franchises, Village In The Shade puts players in the mountain village of Kagatsu where they must take care of the farm and follow the rules. Those who liked the visual style of Yomawari, and the gameplay of STORY OF SEASONS, will no doubt be interested in what this title has to offer.
About: Welcome to Kagatsu, a Japanese mountain village with plenty of secrets. In this brand-new, hand-painted farming sim, you’ll plant crops, customize your homestead, and befriend a cast of intriguing characters.
Relax by the brook, watch the cherry blossoms with your neighbors, or take a stroll through town. With so many ways to relax, you’re sure to feel right at home.
Just make sure to follow a few simple rules: don’t talk to strangers, don’t leave the village, and, whatever you do, don’t go out at night.
