Tales of Eternia Remastered unveiled for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC Release on 16th October 2026

Bandai Namco Entertainment have today confirmed that Tales of Eternia Remastered, a remastered version of the 2000/2001 PlayStation game Tales of Eternia, will launch on the 16th October 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.

The announcement of Tales of Eternia Remastered was originally made during the Nintendo Direct Stream, before additional information was revealed by Bandai Namco shortly after the announcement. As expected this remastered version includes plenty of quality-of-life features such as destination icons, the option to disable enemy encounters, and high-speed mode during auto-battle, but updated with new visuals that can be switched with the original graphics.

About: Tales of Eternia Remastered invites players to experience an epic adventure set across two divided worlds, Inferia and Celestia. The story follows Reid Hershel and childhood friend Faran Oersted, whose lives change when they encounter a mysterious girl who speaks an unknown language. As they try to uncover her identity, they discover that a catastrophic event, the “Great Fall,” a looming collision between worlds is approaching, threatening the very existence of both.

Tales of Eternia Remastered will launch on 16th October 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.
