BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity to Screen in UK Cinemas from 26th June 2026 with Tickets Available to Book Now

Anime Limited, otherwise known as All The Anime, have today taken to social media to officially confirm that BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, which is expected to be the concluding chapter in the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War story, will receive a cinema release in the UK.

The film will be shown exclusively in Japanese with English subtitles from the 26th June 2026 with tickets available to find and book through the official website, with ODEON, Showcase, The Light and Vue cinema chains currently confirmed to be screening the film.

Synopsis: Destruction looms at the end of the Thousand-Year Blood War between the Soul Reapers and Quincies… The Royal Guard Squad Zero confronts Yhwach as he attempts to enter the Royal Palace. However, the Quincy King and his Royal Guard shatter Squad Zero’s powerful Bankai and finally steps into the Reio Greater Palace. Ichibe Hyosube entrusts Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies to protect the Soul King, but due to Yhwach’s trickery, Ichigo cuts down the Soul King with his sword. The death of the Soul King mirrors the collapse of the Three Worlds, as distortions and omens of destruction start to appear in all realms. The Thirteen Court Guard Squads join forces with the surviving Quincies and head for the Royal Palace, but it’s fallen under the control of the Wandenreich, who have transformed it into the Wahr Welt. The Royal Guard wait for them within the castle, ominously towering against the sky.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is the final chapter within the BLEACH story, with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity being the fourth (and final) cour within the Thousand-Year Blood War arc of the series. Both BLEACH and BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War are available to stream on Disney+ in the UK, in both dubbed and subbed formats, and Anime Limited have been releasing both BLEACH and BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War on Blu-Ray in the UK.

As it stands BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity is scheduled to screen in cinemas across the UK from 26th June 2026, with all showings expected to be in Japanese with English subtitles only. Further details and ticket availability can be found on the official website, but Anime Limited did note that tickets may not become available to purchase until later next week before the films planned release date.
