DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO – Super Limit Breaking NEO DLC Set for 30th July 2026 Release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC

Bandai Namco Entertainment have today confirmed, through a special showcase video, event that the Super Limit Breaking NEO DLC for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero will launch on 30th July 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. Release details for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 DLC will be confirmed at a later date.

As outlined in the detailed showcase video the Super Limit Breaking NEO DLC for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero will add 30 Playable Characters, including Trunks (GT), Nova Shenron (GT), Vegeta (GT), Jacko, and Uub, Over 20 Customization Options, 4 New Stages, a New Game Mode and New Gameplay Mechanics such as the chain burst. All of these new features can be found highlighted in the gameplay trailer below.

The new solo mode is called  Limit Breaker Journey, and it allows players to choose their favourite character, develop their abilities and customize them through a variety of battles. Players will navigate the map, select opponents based on their strength and use Battle Arts to gain advantages. Additionally character stats can then be increased, allowing players to shape their fighter to suit their preferred playstyle. In addition to the DLC a new update has been released which adds Sparking! Boost and Chain Blast mechanics for even more variety in combat.

As a reminder DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero, the latest installment into the Sparking (or Budokai Tenkaichi) franchise, was originally released onto the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC in October in 2024 and continues to receive regular updates, with the most recent DLC being characters from Dragon Ball Daima. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero is available for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC with this Super Limit Breaking NEO DLC available from 30th July 2026.
