Suzume 4K UHD Blu-Ray to Release as a SteelBook Edition in the UK this October

It’s been 19 months since a press release revealed that Crunchyroll would release Suzume on 4K UHD Blu-Ray in the UK, and today (thanks to a retail listing on Amazon UK) we now have confirmation that it will be released on the 12th October 2026 as a SteelBook Edition.

Directed by Makoto Shinkai, and featuring music from RADWIMPS, SUZUME debut in Japan in 2022 before receiving a UK cinema release in 2023 and a home video release in 2024 on Blu-Ray and DVD. During the build-up to its Blu-Ray and DVD release it was mentioned in a press release that a 4K UHD Blu-Ray version of the film would also be coming, but until now we’ve not had any confirmed details.

As it stands only a SteelBook Edition has been listed, and is expected that other retailers will list the product in the coming weeks. In the meantime Suzume is available on Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK, and can also be streamed on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
