PAPRIKA 4K UHD Blu-Ray SteelBook Edition Revealed for September Release in the UK

Online retail listings at Amazon UK, HMV, and Rarewaves have today revealed that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment are planning to release Satoshi Kon’s PAPRIKA as a 4K UHD Blu-Ray SteelBook Edition next month.

Currently available for pre-order with a SRP of £34.99, and scheduled to be released on the 14th September 2026, this newly revealed SteelBook Edition will contain the film on both 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray in both English and Japanese with English subtitles. It’s not yet known what bonus features will be included on this UK edition, but the box art does list an 18 rating and BBFC listings reveal that an 18 rating was awarded to a new audio commentary track included on the UHD Blu-Ray disc as well as a 12 rating to UHD Bonus Material and a 12 rating to Blu-Ray bonus material.

PAPRIKA has had many releases in the UK on both Blu-Ray and DVD, with the most recent being from Manga Entertainment back in 2018. This will be the first time however that PAPRIKA will be available in 4K UHD format and in a SteelBook Edition.

As it stands this Steelbook Edition 4K UHD Blu-Ray of PAPRIKA is currently scheduled to be released on the 14th September 2026 and is currently available to pre-order at Amazon UK, HMV, and Rarewaves
