Premium Crunchyroll subscribers who own an Android or iOS device will soon be able to access a small, but ever-expanding, library of mobile games as part of their monthly subscription. Introduced as the Crunchyroll Game Vault, subscribers will today be play to download and play Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery, Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions, inbento, River City Girls, and Wolfstride.
At the time of writing only Android variations of these games are available to play as part of the Crunchyroll Game Vault service, but the iOS version is planned and is due soon (although a time frame wasn’t mentioned). Here is what Terry Li, Executive Vice President of Emerging Business at Crunchyroll, had to say about the launch of this new service to existing subscribers.
“Crunchyroll Game Vault is a curated, focused library of premium titles for the global anime fan that loves gaming, adding even more value to Crunchyroll memberships by connecting fans with anime-infused content. With Crunchyroll Game Vault, we’re also looking forward to working with international developers to bring their titles to mobile for the first time or introduce existing mobile games to the Crunchyroll community as part of an amazing line-up.”
