Amazon Prime subscribers in the UK looking to watch more Ghost in the Shell anime content can now stream Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Ghost in the Shell: Pyrophoric Cult and Ghost in The Shell: The New Movie. All three titles are available to stream in dubbed and subbed format.
The addition of these titles to the Amazon Prime service isn’t surprising, as Amazon Prime currently have the streaming rights to THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, but what is surprising is that all three titles feature a newly produced English Dub. Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie were previously dubbed by FUNimation and this English Dub can still be watched on the Crunchyroll platform.

Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie were previously released on Blu-ray and DVD in the UK through Manga Entertainment with the FUNimation English Dub, but have since gone out of print. Ghost in the Shell: Pyrophoric Cult meanwhile has only been available to stream on Crunchyroll in subtitled format as part of the re-released Alternative Architecture series which was a re-release of Aria in episodic format.
As it stands all three titles are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video for Amazon Prime subscribers in the UK and can be watched in both English and Japanese with English subtitles with both the English Dub and subtitles being newly produced. Naturally an Amazon Prime subscription, and a compatible devices, is required in order to watch Prime Video content on the platform. As a reminder THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, which is the latest adaptation of The Ghost in the Shell manga, recently conlcuded its simulcast streaming on Amazon Prime with a second season greenlit for production.
