Cygames have today announced that Granblue Fantasy: Relink , the upcoming 3D Action-RPG based upon the Granblue Fantasy mobile game, will receive a playable demo on 12th January 2024 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
This newly announced demo will allow players to explore a small portion of the game, with the demo split into STORY MODE, QUEST MODE and TUTORIAL MODE. STORY MODE will offer a glimpse into the games story while QUEST MODE will allow players to embark on three different quests with 11 different characters. TUTORIAL MODE meanwhile will teach players about the mechanics of the game.
About: Granblue Fantasy takes place in the Sky Realm, a world where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. Take your role as captain of a skyfaring crew, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria. Together you sail with a colorful cast of crewmates, including kings and misfits alike, for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies.
In the Zegagrande Skydom, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.
It’s worth noting that progress in the demo can not be saved and will not be transferred to the full game once released, additionally a playable demo will not be made available on Steam.
Granblue Fantasy Relink will be available worldwide on 1st February 2024 with European release being handled (distributed) via PLAION and the North American release via XSEED Games.
