As part of the Pokémon Presents presentation that streamed earlier today, The Pokémon Company announced that a new Pokémon Legends game would be making its way to the Nintendo Switch console next year.
Unveiled as Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and shown as a CG Trailer, the game will receive a worldwide Nintendo Switch release in 2025 and will see players return to the Kalos Region. Not many details have been shared, but Lumiose City will play an important role within the games story.
As Pokémon Legends: Z-A shares the same naming and logo presentation as Pokémon Legends Arceus, and due to a Urban Redevelopment Plan being mentioned in the trailer, we can speculate that this new game will see the player travel back in time to where construction of Lumiose City first began and where people and Pokémon started to live in harmony.
Regardless, we’ll learn more about Pokémon Legends: Z-A in the future, but for the time being at least it is planned for a worldwide Nintendo Switch release in 2025.
