The Nine Tails was one of the strongest beings in the Naruto verse. But after its death, the power dynamic of the whole shinobi world changed since Naruto was no longer the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails. This article will look at the potential next Nine Tails Jinchuriki.
The New Powerful Nine Tails Jinchuriki Unleashed
After Kurama sacrificed himself in the Isshiki fight for Naruto to use Baryon Mode everyone thought that was it and we will never see our favorite Nine Tail fox ever again but in the latest chapter of the Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga we got a hint for Kurama’s comeback in the future. In the past, the Tailed Beasts played a huge role in the balance of power among the nations and villages.
But after Naruto brought peace to the shinobi world, Jinchuriki were not required, and the Tailed Beasts were no longer subjugated for their power. But now the world is facing bigger threats than ever before and if we the shinobi don’t work alongside the Tailed Beasts both of them might not survive.
After Kurama’s death we lost the strongest Tailed Beast in the latest chapter of Boruto Two Blue Vortex we see the leader of the Shinju, Jura sensing the chakra of Kurama in Himawari Uzumaki the daughter of Naruto Uzumaki. This might be foreshadowing for Himawari becoming the next Nine Tails Jinchuriki and carrying on her family tradition just like her grandparents and father who were all Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails.
Himawari’s Potential
Himawari’s potential is through the roof even as a child we know she was the youngest to unlock the Byakugan. She has been training under her grandfather learning the Hyuga clan’s special fighting style the “Gentle Fist” which can only be fully utilized with a Byakugan.
We have seen her knock out not only Naruto but even demon fox Kurama himself when she was angry at Boruto for destroying her teddy bear and instead of hitting Boruto she accidentally hits Naruto with the Tenketsu and knocks him out cold which leads to Naruto missing his Hokage ceremony.
The biggest glimpse of Himawari’s potential we see is when Daemon senses her presence and gets excited. This is the same Daemon who doesn’t even care about Ohtsutsuki like Boruto and Kawaki. He manhandles Code who just got his limiters removed and was stated to be stronger than Jigen. Daemon was ready to fight Himawari but she couldn’t even defend herself which means she was unaware of her potential.
The Need For a New Jinchuriki
The threats the shinobi world faces are bigger than ever. Ohtsutsuki invading their planet and the Shinju who have gained a conscious and ego are after them to combat these threats the shinobi world would need every bit of help they can get. By making new Jinchuriki not only the humans will have a fighting chance but also the Tailed Beasts.
But choosing the right Jichuriki is the most important part as we have seen the Ohtsutsuki can absorb chakra and jutsu same could be applied to the Shinju as well since they all have the Rinnegan. A Jinchuriki whose fighting style consists of physical combat and jutsu that utilize preexisting elements. Himawari utilizing her Byakugan with gentle fist and the chakra from the Nine Tails would make her a force to be reckoned with.
Not only she has trained with her Hyuga family but we see her training with Team 10 as well when she was sparing with the Ino-Shika-Cho trio. After losing her parents she hasn’t lost hope and intends to grow stronger for her family’s sake as well.
Kurama’s Return
Kurama played a huge role in shaping the history of the shinobi world alongside Naruto. But after his emotional sacrifice in the Isshiki fight it was stated he died and will not return unlike the past when Tailed Beasts were killed and later came back to life. But Kurama used up all his chakra to save Naruto which meant certain death.
But Jura who is a Tailed Beast himself a part of the Ten Tails senses the Nine Tails chakra from Himawari and mistakes her for Naruto. But how can this happen when Kurama used up all his chakra?
It could be a situation where Kurama might have given some of his chakra to Himawari when he was living with the Uuzmaki family as a measure of safety. Or even if she does not become a proper Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails it might be a situation like the Gold and Silver brothers where they consumed the chakra of Kurama and were able to use the Tailed Beast chakra cloaks. But whatever happens, everyone is excited to see what’s in store for the little Byakugan princess Himawari and the possible return of the Nine Tails.
