Bandai Namco Amusement Europe have announced that they have partnered with TOEI Animation to host a Dragon Ball Super themed Pop-Up Store, accompanied with various different events and activities, at the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Camden, London, between 21st June and 28th July 2024.
Starting tomorrow the Bandai Namco Cross in Camden will transform into a Dragon Ball Super themed store whereby visitors can purchase new Dragon Ball merchandise, embrace their inner saiyan with multiple photo ops and take part in a Dragon Ball scavenger hunt around Camden. There will be other activities as well, as such as a weekly competition, a message board, and free gifts such as colouring sheets and postcards.
Key Activities during the event:
Merchandise: During the pop-up, collectors and fans can acquire merchandise of statues from much loved characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Gohan, Piccolo, Gogeta, and more in a variety of figure forms – Chibi Masters, Dragon Star Series – Super Saiyan, Super Version – and Banpresto.
Dragon Ball Hunt: Fans of Dragon Ball will be able to embark on a hunt starting at Bandai Namco Cross Store Camden to then venture out around Camden Market looking for hidden items to decipher for an opportunity to claim a free prize.
Weekly Competition: Simply scan the QR code when you purchase a Dragon Ball product to stand a chance to win a bundle of exclusive prizes.
Photo Spot Areas: Fans of Dragon Ball can pose and take pictures and videos next to iconic characters such as Goku, Vegeta, and Shenron, against backdrops and videos of scenes and themes from Dragon Ball to share with family, friends, and the community.
Saiyan Transformation and Goku and Vegeta Photo Spot (Ground Floor): Reach a high level of power and unleash your unearthed Super Saiyan transformation against a backdrop that brings your photo to life. Also, chill, pose and take selfies with your friends Goku and Vegeta.
Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta (First Floor): Heading on up another level to the first floor, you will come across several characters in flight, the history of Dragon Ball, as well as Goku and Vegeta having levelled up their transformation to Super Saiyan Blue. Enjoy a special photo with the godly transformed icons with magical dragon, Shenron in the background, along with a variety of Dragon Ball merchandise on offer in the main pop-up event area.
Message Board: If Shenron were to appear, what wish would you like him to fulfil? Write your wish on a sticky note and leave it on the message board for the magical dragon, Shenron.
Gifts and Goodies: Fans will be able to claim free Dragon Ball Super themed prizes, gifts, actvities from tote bags, postcards, and colouring sheets.
As a reminder this Dragon Ball Super themed Pop-up Store and activities will take place at the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Camden, London, between 21st June and 28th July 2024. It’s also expected that the regular store facilities, as the Capsule Machines, Arcade Machines and other merchandise will still be available during this pop-up store event.
