Did you know that earlier this week Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story, a pixel-art / sprite styled game that sees you help Doraemon, Nobita and his friends run a sweet shop, was released digitally onto the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch? Nope, neither did we, but is’ available with a 10% launch discount until 10th September 2024.
Doraemon Dorayaki Shop Story was originally unveiled during the Japanese Nintendo Direct Presentation earlier this week and launched shortly after the presentation onto the Nintendo eShop, but what we didn’t notice is that the game also launched on the Nintendo eShop globally. Interestingly the game didn’t even get mentioned in the western versions of the Nintendo Direct. The game is developed by Kairosoft and sees you run a sweet shop with Doraemon and friends but also features guest characters T・P BON and Kiteretsu Encyclopedia.
