Appraiser With Cheat Powers #01 — Kicked From the Party, You Say?

Thanks, the charts help.

Impressions:

The path to the bottom inexorably and inevitably continues. Another kicked from the party but now I have cheat powers premise. Sure, he doesn’t get cheat powers just yet, but they’re in the title and he gets revived from death by his pet goddess primary harem member twice, so we’re well on our way. The rest of it is largely him narrating to himself or the space goats that live in his head how the world works, and it’s everything we’ve heard before a dozen times in this season alone. Everybody gets a class. His class sucks, so he’s of the lower caste. He’s kicked from the party. Magic god trees exist magically and are magical, but not so special that he’s going to care about it before blithely throwing himself right back into danger with zero preparation or thought.

Just another sad sack protagonist who exists to explain how the world is an RPG but not actually a literal RPG, but is actually a literal RPG because it keeps calling up status screens for goddamned everything. Everything’s stacked against him and he’s going to suffer to the maximum while bemoaning that all his life he has suffered and everything is unfair and everybody is a cackling sadist just out to abuse him, right up until he wins the big boobed elf lottery. Same as the hundred others that came before it. Carefully twiddling with the knobs ever so slightly on the amount of suffering, amount of RPGness, and amount of demihuman boob until the balance is perfect. Or just spitting out yet another goddamned one of these.
