Publisher Idea Factory International have recently announced that Death end re;Quest: Code Z, which is the latest installment into the Death end re;Quest franchise, will launch physically and digitally on 13th May 2025 within North America and Europe. Additionally, the physical version will be available as a Standard Edition, a Limited Edition, and (for the PlayStation 4 version of the game) as part of a Trilogy Collection with other games in the franchise.
Synopsis: Step into a tale of parallel universes… Iris was born in World DE-1, a world that mirrors Earth in the 2000s. With her birth, a series of tragic loops was set in motion, which were gradually unraveled by the efforts of Arata Mizunashi and his team.

It is expected that the Standard Edition, and Trilogy Collection, will be available at all participating retailers, but all three editions will be available to purchase from the respective Idea Factory storefronts in UK, Europe and North America. Pre-Orders for these editions are also expected to start on 1st April 2025.

Death end re;Quest: Code Z will be available physically and digitally for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on 13th May 2025 with pre-orders expected to start in the coming weeks. A Nintendo Switch version of the game was originally planned, but this was later cancelled due to contents in the game not complying with Nintendo guidelines.
