Probably could’ve used more tanuki ball jokes.
I think I’ll just deal with 9-nine-‘s second episode after To Be Hero tonight since I need to recharge and reboot. I have glanced at it already and it’s less than ideal. Both will come a little late for social reasons.
Impressions:
Gee, I was getting extremely bored, but then they introduced a vet character who overreacts loudly to everything. And spent the last five minutes of the episode sitting in the bath, pondering life. It took a significant amount of effort just to stay awake. I’m not sure I actually succeeded. She adopts a tanuki……. but calls it a dog……….. and it writes to communicate with her……… and other people………. I’m not sure that’s enough ellipses to accurately convey how slow everything goes in this show. And eventually, as mentioned, there are other people introduced who instead of not reacting to the previous sentence, loudly react to the previous sentence. I’m not sure who thought stretching this out to twenty minutes was a good idea, and there’s three more months to go.
