Impressions:
Oh good, here’s the status screens. I was starting to think that they’d gone out of fashion even for the most godawful of these dumb cheat power RPG shows. And this is an especially egregious one. It’s very reminiscent of Overlord, both in that it has the exact same premise except that his kingdom is just a single horny slave wife, and that it too spent the entire episode sitting on their asses. Only so much can happen when you literally never move an inch, but boy, does that cut down on the budget.
Somewhat weirdly, the second half left the dude’s head, status screens, and explaining how they’re in his RPG and so there’s going to be RPG mechanics, and instead followed a bunch of dark elves encountering him. So instead of being in his head watching him sit on his ass, we got to see other characters see him sitting on his ass. They also explained to each other their current geopolitical situation, most conversations starting with “As we’re both aware.” Please stop making this show, anime industry.
