Impressions:
Despite Wednesdays being otherwise full of shounen and fanservice, this still isn’t making any kind of case for itself. After two fairly dull introductory episodes, the adventure begins by… having the two protagonists spend the entire episode on their asses, listening to a bunch of slaver brigands explain how much slaving, briganding, raping, and killing that they love to do. Then perspective switches slightly to the wet nurse girl for her to tell them how much slaving and raping she had to endure. Exciting adventure times here. They try to censor it by changing part of her being raped to being spanked, but if anything, that just makes things worse and dumber.
I think I’m only even mentioning this at all because it airs very early so I’m able to turn it on and let it run while I eat breakfast, and otherwise it would have already been cast into the pit.
