European publisher SelectaPlay have recently announced that they will release a physical version of OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK within Europe for the Nintendo Switch in 2024.
OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK, which is a metroidvania styled game, was originally released as a digital-only title onto the Nintendo eShop back in 2022 and takes inspiration and elements from the OVERLORD anime series to display them as a 2D sprite adventure.
About: OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK is a 2D dark fantasy action adventure, where Players will act as the warrior Clementine who wakes up inside the underground Great Tomb of Nazarick. She has been imprisoned by a mysterious undead called Ainz Ooal Gown, who forces her to participate in brutal experiments. Without her weapons and suffering from amnesia, she must defeat Ainz and his many challenging servants as she makes her way to freedom.
A specific release date for this physical version of OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK has not yet been confirmed, but SelectaPlay plan to release it within Europe in early 2024. In the meantime OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK is available digitally from the Nintendo eShop.
