Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently revealed that the next piece of downloadable content for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and the final piece of DLC as part of Season Pass 2, will be known as Goku’s Next Journey.
Not much has been revealed about this piece of downloadable content, but based on the newly released gameplay trailer it is expected to recreate the final few episodes of Dragon Ball Z in video game form. In the original anime series Goku enters the World Martial Arts Tournament expecting to find a mysterious fighter known as Uub, who is rumored to be the reincarnation of Buu, and wishes to battle him. The final episode of Dragon Ball Z sees Goku and Uub battle each other before flying off into the distance so that they can train. It is here, where many years later, that Dragon Ball GT picks-up and sees Goku and Uub training at Kami’s lookout.
We can expect to hear more details about Goku’s Next Journey (which is also the English title for the original final Dragon Ball Z episode) in the near future, but in the meantime Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
