For what it is, it was pretty good. The love triangle is half-baked and since they hooked up halfway through the second half mostly lost my interest.
For shows like this, I feel like it would be much more interesting if the lead characters were more flawed. Or there were more conflict in their relationship. Like… the girl wishes the boy were home more often but he neglects her traveling. The hot boy wants to make out but the girl isn’t ready. I don’t know. Give me something to keep me watching! I don’t want to watch a disgustingly happy couple live perfect lives. There were some other things going on with their friends I guess…
My criticism is probably unfair though— this just isn’t a genre I’m all that into. It’s quite good for what it is.
Storytelling – B – It can tell a story but I wish it had more conflict.
Voice – B – Nice animation style.
Characters – B – Good characterizations although most aren’t too memorable.
