Originally revealed during the PlayStation State of Play on 30th May 2024, KOEI TECMO have now officially announced that DYNASTY WARRIORS ORIGINS is in development for a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC in 2025.
As described by KOEI TECMO DYNASTY WARRIORS ORIGINS will be told through the eyes of a “nameless hero”., whereby players will play through the historical tale of war as chaos erupts throughout the Three Kingdoms. In addition players will need to react quickly to the events unfolding on screen due to the unprecedented size and scale of enemy armies overwhelming the battlefield. Coordination with allied armies is also key as players deploy battle tactics in real time while slicing through waves of soldiers.
More details surrounding DYNASTY WARRIORS ORIGINS will be revealed in due time, but at the moment the game is planned for a 2025 release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
