A new listing in the “coming soon” section of the Disney+ application has revealed that that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle-, which will is now titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I, will become available to stream from the 28th September 2026 in dubbed and subbed formats, which is the same day that the film also gets added to Netflix.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -Infinity Castle- , which is produced by ufotable and distributed in the UK by Aniplex, Crunchyroll, and Sony Pictures Releasing International, opened in cinemas across the UK and Ireland in September 2025, and achieved a £3.4m box office during its opening weekend. The film then received another cinematic release across the UK in March 2026 with new a new SCREENX version, and then more recently, on the 28th July 2026, the film was added to the Crunchyroll platform. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is the first film in a trilogy of films that will bring the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba storyline to its conclusion, with the second and third films expected in 2027 and 2029.
Synopsis: Tanjiro Kamado – a boy who joined an organization dedicated to hunting down demons called the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.
While growing stronger and deepening his friendships and bonds with fellow corps members, Tanjiro has battled many demons with his comrades – Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey has led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui within the Entertainment District, as well as Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.
As the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program, the Hashira Training, in preparation for the forthcoming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appears at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji.
The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.
All TV episodes of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba are currently available to stream on both Crunchyroll and Netflix in the UK, with the first season available on Blu-Ray from Anime Limited and later arcs on Blu-Ray from Crunchyroll. The arrival of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I onto Disney+ comes as a surprise, especially since the platform isn’t streaming the TV series, but it is one of the biggest anime releases of year. Regardless Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I is set to become available to stream on Disney+ and Netflix from 28th September 2026 in the UK and is available to stream now on Crunchyroll.
