Autograph Sessions at Anime Expo is always in high demand and can be challenging to obtain. This year we would like to provide a 6 Easy Step Guide on how you can get autograph tickets and help you to better navigate the process.
Step 1 – Download our AX Mobile App or go to the AX Website to see the autograph schedule.
Step 2 – Once you know the date of the autograph session that you would like to go to; you will need to prepare and plan your day to get an autograph ticket at the autograph ticketing booth at Gilbert Lindsay Plaza at AX Crossing between the hours of 8AM – 1PM on the day of your autograph session. Some Industry autograph sessions will have a different ticketing process, please see the description on the AX Mobile App or Website for each session details. After 1PM autograph tickets will be distributed at the autograph Area at the JW Marriott Gold Ballroom. Tickets are limited and it’s on a first come first serve basis.
Step 3 – New to AX 2024, Guest of Honor autograph requires an Online Reservation via Showclix and you will still need to pick up a physical tickets. Reservation link will be available when ready in the AX Mobile App and AX Website Autograph Schedule. See line location 1 in the map below for the autograph ticketing line.
Step 4 – The Autograph Ticketing Booth is located inside the AX Campus perimeter at the Gilbert Lindsay Plaza at AX Crossing. This area will not be accessible to anyone without an AX badge. In addition, forming lines overnight inside the AX Campus perimeter will not be allowed so please plan accordingly. All unofficial line queues will not be recognized by Anime Expo.
Step 5 – Once you receive the autograph ticket, you will need to head to the JW Marriott autograph area and stand at the appropriate line. Standard and Industry autograph sessions will be at the JW Marriott Gold Ballroom and Guest of Honor autograph sessions will be held at the JW Marriott Plaza. Step 6 – Bring something so you can get your autograph (Shikishi Board, Merchandise, Artbook, AX Program Guide, etc.)
