Marvelous Europe, in partnership with Marvelous USA / XSEED Games and Marvelous Inc, have today released an extended gameplay trailer for Farmagia, an upcoming monster-farming RPG featuring character and monster designs from manga artist Hiro Mashima, and confirmed that an anime series based on the game is currently in production.
Farmagia was originally shown during the Marvelous Game Showcase, with the Nintendo Direct stream earlier this week giving us a first look at the gameplay. Today, Marvelous have released a new extended gameplay trailer which gives us an even longer look at the gameplay, the characters, and the world they inhabit. In addition the trailer introduces us to the theme song, “Life is Beautiful,” by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, a four-piece rock band consisting of Masafumi Gotoh (Vocals & Guitar), Kensuke Kita (Guitar & Vocals), Takahiro Yamada (Bass & Vocals), and Kiyoshi Ijichi (Drums).
About: In the world of Felicidad farmers known as Farmagia raise and command monsters who live in harmony under the watchful eye of the Magus Diluculum. This peace brought prosperity to the land until the death of the Magus, which drew opportunists seeking to use monsters to seize power for themselves. As a reminder Farmagia will receive a physical Limited Edition on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with this Limited Edition being priced at €59.99 and containing a physical copy of the game, a Soundtrack CD (containign 23 tracks), and an art book featuring artwork from the game.
As it stands Farmagia will be available physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, as well as digitally on Windows PC (via Steam) on 1st November 2024. Pre-orders for both physical and digital editions will be made available at a later date. An anime series based on the game is also in production, with further details to be announced at a later date.
