Earlier in the month NIS America revealed that Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero would be coming to the Nintendo Switch as part of the June 2024 Nintendo Direct showcase, but now the publisher have also confirmed that the game is also planned for a PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam release in 2025.
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is a Strategy RPG that allows you to freely explore the map and recruit allies into battle by confining their souls to objects on the map. Players will also be able to enjoy a story that sees Marona on a quest to save her friend Ash with the adventure bringing plenty of entertainment and friendships along the way.
About: In Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, the story follows Marona – a gifted young girl with the power to speak to Phantoms – as she traverses the ocean world of Ivoire, providing aid to those in need. When a fleet of ghost ships attack, it’s up to Marona and her new friend Apricot to assemble the legendary crew that once defeated these spectral foes. Recruit Phantoms, bind them to objects, combine them with Gadgets, and even merge them with Marona herself to unleash show-stopping abilities and sink the Shipwreck Fleet!
Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is currently planned for a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam) release in 2025. It’s also reported that the Steam version will arrive later in 2025. In the meantime the Steam’s game page is currently available alongside a microsite that offers more information about the game.
