Why are we bothering swording them when their house is getting blown up right after?
Impressions:
This is the filler part of the game, isn’t it? Where they can’t just let you into Ganon’s Tower until things get padded out with another 3-4 obligatory dungeons where you have to collect the sacred orbs or pieces of the true Master Sword or whatever. And so 9S wanders off to go Anakin some defensiveless robots and flip switch one of three. That’s half the episode and I’m already tired of it and not particularly wanting to see him go through two more towers that are just two empty rooms with filler not-enemies.
The A2 side is almost as bad. Still with the cacophony of screaming robots, but danger’s a’coming. Gradually. Slowly. Aaaaaaannnny minute now. Just got to anticipate it a liiiiittle bit longer. Just a little bit more. Almost here. And whew, the episode’s over. We’ll be getting to anything actually showing up after out ten minutes of waiting for it to happen next week. Thrilling. This episode could have been over and done with in five minutes, or even skipped entirely. 9S murdering some robots was about the only scene of any substance in the whole thing, and even that was weak since he’s already become a slobbering rage nihilist with his girlfriend gone.
