NIS America have released a playable demo for Ys X: Nordics, which is of course the latest installment into the long-running Nihon Falcom RPG franchise, ahead of the games full release on 25th October 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC.
The demo, which is available to download from the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store and Steam, will allow players to experience a small portion of the game whereby players can sample combat elements such as Solo Mode and Duo Mode, charged elemental attacks with Mana Burst, as well as battles across land and sea. Progress made in the demo can also be transferred to the full game once it’s released later this month.
About: Adol Christin and his unlikely ally, the pirate Karja Balta, must learn to work together to save the people of the gulf from the mysterious immortal monsters known as the Griegr.
As a reminder a Limited Edition variant of Ys X: Nordics will also be available from the NIS America Store in Europe and North America. This Limited Edition will contain a Art Book, Soundtrack, Metal Pin, Postcard Set, Sling Bag and be presented in a Collector’s Box. Additionally a special bundle will also be available that will also offer Adventurer Adol Plush and a Lil’ Pirate Princess Karja Plush.
