MVM Entertainment have today confirmed on social media that the second season of Made in Abyss, known as Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Sorching Sun, will be released as a Standard Edition Blu-Ray in the UK on 10th February 2025. Pre-orders for this set are also now being accepted on the Anime-On-Line store at a discounted price for a limited time.
Listed with an SRP of £39.99, but currently available to pre-order for £23.99 as an early bird offer for a limited time on the Anime-On-Line store, this set will feature all 12 episodes of the second season and be presented in both English and Japanese audio (with English subtitles). It is expected that MVM Entertainment will use the same disc masters as those used by Sentai Filmworks in the US, as such bonus features should also include the “Together with Papa” animated short as well as textless songs and Japanese promos.
About: No one has ventured into the sixth layer of the Abyss and remained unchanged. No one returns from their Last Dive, and no one knows what happened to those who delved further. Even with the possession of a White Whistle, an ominous specter hovers above Riko, Reg and Nanachi as they advance down to the sixth layer, the Capital of the Unreturned.

Interestingly Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Sorching Sun was originally announced for a 2024 release back in June, but was then later reconfirmed for a 2025 release earlier this month along with other new releases. Regardless, Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Sorching Sun is now scheduled for a 10th February 2025 Blu-Ray release in the UK and is currently available to pre-order from the Anime-On-Line store with other retail listings to appear online shortly. MVM Entertainment have also released Made in Abyss (Season 1) and Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul (Movie) on Blu-Ray in the UK.
