Nihon Falcom, in partnership with publisher GungHo, have today revealed that Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, which was previously announced as The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st and is a complete 3D remake of a PSP Game, will be released worldwide onto Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 & Steam in Fall 2025.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter was previously unveiled during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase in June of this year and it was expected that NIS America, who currently publish The Legend of Heroes titles in the west, would be handling its western release. Today’s announcement however reveals that it will be GungHo Online Entertainment that will act as the publisher, and that (reportedly) the game will feature English & Japanese audio with subtitles in English, French and German.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is currently planned for a fall 2025 release onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC (via Steam) with further details to be revealed at a later date. A Japanese website is also available with a variety of screenshots from the game.
