The Colors Within UK Cinema Tickets Now Available to Book Online with film to Screen from 31st January 2025

There is just over 2 weeks to go until The Colors Within, which is an anime directed by Naoko YAMADA, arrives in cinemas across the UK and cinema tickets are now available to book online through the official website. The film, which will be available in participating cinemas (including VUE, ODEON & Showcase) from 31st January 2025, will be screened in both subbed and dubbed formats.

The Colors Within marks Yamada’s highly anticipated first feature film at Science SARU, and sees her reunite with regular collaborators, such as screenwriter Reiko Yoshida (A Silent Voice) and composer Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw ManDAN DA DAN)to create an enchanting and sweet film with surprising emotional depth.

About: Totsuko is a high school student with the ability to see the ‘colors’ of others. Colors of bliss, excitement, and serenity, plus a color she treasures as her favorite. Kimi, a classmate at her school, gives off the most beautiful color of all. Although she doesn’t play an instrument, Totsuko forms a band with Kimi and Rui, a quiet music enthusiast they meet at a used bookstore in a far corner of town. As they practice at an old church on a remote island, music brings them together, forming friendships and stirring affections. Will they discover their true ‘colors’?

The Colours Within has been met with positive response across the globe, as it had its world premiere at Annecy International Film Festival and wa also screened at the BFI London Film Festival as well as Scotland Loves Anime Festivals. The film has also won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Animation Film at the 2024 Shanghai International Film Festival, and tied for the Audience Award at the 7th Animation is Film Festival.

Those in the UK will be able to experience The Colors Within themselves when the film arrives in cinemas across the UK on 31st January 2025. Dubbed and subbed screenings of the film will be available at participating cinema chains across the UK including VUE, ODEON and Showcase Cinemas. Additional screenings, and locations, may come available closer to the films release so it’s always best to check. Further availability can be found on the official website.
