MVM Entertainment have today revealed, through new early bird pre-order offers on Anime-On-Line, that Blu-Rays of Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 & 2 Collection and Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 will become available on 26th May 2025 within the UK.
MVM Entertainment had previously announced Blu-Ray releases of Kamisama Kiss last month, but until now it wasn’t known when they would be released. As of today however, we now know that both Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 & 2 Collection and Kamisama Kiss – Season 1 will be released on 26th May 2025. The second season of Kamisama Kiss has previously been released in the UK on both Blu-Ray and DVD, whereas the first season has only been released on DVD (hence the individual Season 1 and Season 1 & 2 collection being released).
Synopsis: Nanami Momozono was just a normal teenage girl down on her luck until a stranger’s lips marked her as the new Land God and turned her world upside down. Now, she’s figuring out the duties of a deity with the help of Tomoe, a reformed fox demon who reluctantly becomes her familiar in a contract sealed with a kiss.
The new responsibilities – and boys – are a lot to handle, like the crow demon masquerading as a gorgeous pop idol and the adorable snake spirit who’s chosen the newly minted god to be his bride. As the headstrong Tomoe tries to whip her into shape, Nanami finds that love just might have cute, pointed fox ears. With romance in the air, will the human deity prove herself worthy of her new title?
It’s also worth noting that the Season 1 & 2 Collection of Kamisama Kiss will contain 10 art cards and have the cases packaged inside a rigid artbox, thus giving the feel of a limited edition release. Regardless, Kamisama Kiss will be available on Blu-Ray in the UK from 26th May 2025 and pre-orders are currently being accepted at Anime-On-Line. We do expect that general retail listings (at Amazon UK, HMV, etc) will become available in the coming weeks.
