Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently confirmed that a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version of the 2020 musou-styled game ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 4 will be released in the near future. Those who own the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will also be able to upgrade to the next-gen version for FREE once released.
Developed by KOEI TECMO GAMES, and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 4 takes the traditional musou (1vs100) gameplay style and mixes it with the ONE PIECE story line and offers lots of different characters to play as. Naturally the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game will feature quality of life improvements, such as improved visuals and frame-rate, but new content is also being planned for all versions of the game.
A Character Poll to decide the characters in the upcoming DLC is starting now until 28th February 2025, where fans can select up to three favourite characters from a list of 23. A Bandai Namco ID is needed to participate and based on the results, characters will be making their way into the game as an upcoming paid DLC. More on the upcoming DLC packs will be revealed at a later date.
ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 4 will be available in the near future for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the game is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
