KONAMI have today announced that EDENS ZERO, an upcoming Action RPG based upon Hiro Mashima’s manga, will be released on 17th July 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC with a physical edition also being planned for consoles.
As a reminder EDENS ZERO follows the adventure of Shiki and Rebecca as they search for the planet “Mother” while making friends along the way. The game looks to recreate iconic moments from the original story in video game form, and as part of this experience players will be able to recruit crew members, use special skills and freely explore the ship in. Other interesting features include the ability to customize characters, upgrade gear and use a wide array of characters. While the main story is the true objective, there will also be side quests and game exclusive stories that players will be able to take part in, all of which further expands the world of EDENS ZERO.
As mentioned the game is planned to be released physically on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as well as digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, with digital pre-orders starting today. Interestingly early purchase bonus will grant an exclusive flag-type accessory, with the design varying depending on which platform you are playing on. All platforms however will receive the Hunter Attire for Pino. A Deluxe Edition will also be available which grants 3-Day Early Access to the game along with new costumes, a lacrama set and and a starter set in addition to Hunter Attire for Pino.
As it stands KONAMI will be releasing EDENS ZERO will launch on 15th July 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC in 2025. Further gameplay details can also be found on the official website.
