Bandai Namco Entertainment have today announced EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS, PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY, SHADOW LABYRINTH, SUPER ROBOT WARS Y, and Tamagotchi Plaza for various platforms. All of these, with the exception of SUPER ROBOT WARS Y were revealed during the Nintendo Direct presentation earlier today, and are expected to be released during the year.

EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS will bring back the classic gameplay that everybody loves. The three-button shot mechanic will let anyone jump in and get that perfect shot, easy to learn yet challenging to master.
The game will offer Solo Rounds, where players can work to beat their personal records, and a Challenge Mode, with tournaments to climb against challenging competitors. The Multiplayer Mode will allow the creation of friendly competitions for up to four players, locally or online. Finally, the new tee-rific Wacky Golf mode will spice things up with crazy rules and events, for a whole new fun way to play golf!
PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY [Nintendo Switch | PlayStation 5 | Windows PC]

PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY is a 2D-platform game which offers a unique blend of rhythm-based action and real-time strategy, where players must overcome their enemies and return the Patapon to Earthend. Patapons are guided in their adventures by the rhythm of four “legendary drums” and have different classes and roles that players can mix to lead the charge to victory, such as the “Hatapon”, leading the charge, “Kibapon”, a horse-riding warrior, or “Yumipon”, that shoots its bows from afar. Patapons can also be enhanced by combining items collected from rare materials through stages and missions. With over 400 types of weapons and equipment, players can build their personalised Patapon unit and tackle diverse stages and formidable enemies.
Players will find the game easy to jump into with its intuitive and rhythm-based controls and will ultimately need to hone their skills to for precise timing and tactical thinking to maintain the rhythm to truly master the Patapon tribe. The game keeps the original’s fun and DNA with new updates that are making it even more accessible and enjoyable! This package introduces new support features such as three difficulty settings (Normal, Easy, Hard), timing adjustment, and constant command display.
SHADOW LABYRINTH [Nintendo Switch | PlayStation 5 | Xbox Series | Windows PC]

As a departure from any previous PAC-MAN game, SHADOW LABYRINTH puts players in the role of another character as protagonist, a warrior named Swordsman No. 8, but with the mysterious yet familiar yellow companion PUCK at their side. PUCK’s role is that of guide and guardian, teaching players that their aim in this treacherous world is to escape it, and to achieve that they must consume everything that waits in the darkness to survive and grow more powerful.
Along the way, they encounter increasingly challenging enemies, and puzzles with gameplay that weaves fluid tried and true 2D action platformer mechanics with inspired modern game design. SHADOW LABYRINTH offers a vast maze-filled world to explore as players uncover terrifying secrets about the planet and its inhabitants. The game features an engaging narrative, where venturing deeper into this maze of a world begins to unravel the mystery of the planet and PUCK’s role in it. The rich story draws wider inspiration than just PAC-MAN, tapping into Bandai Namco’s broader library of beloved classic games, and promising to delight fans with familiarity and nostalgia for classic arcade games.

This game is the newest addition to the SUPER ROBOT WARS series which started more than 30 years ago. Players will have to place their units strategically and command them to defeat their opponents. To strengthen their heroes and overcome the next challenge, they will be able to upgrade their units and train their pilots with the credits and resources earned after each mission.
SUPER ROBOT WARS Y will include many units and mecha series such as COMBATTLER V, Aura Battler Dunbine, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury Season 1, Majestic Prince, Macross Delta: Passionate Walküre, Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection, Getter Robot Arc…and more!
Tamagotchi Plaza [Nintendo Switch]

The latest entry into the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series will bring back the unique feel of setting up quirky shops in the Tamagotchi world and serving cute characters with even more fun possibilities! The Great Gotchi King declared the Tamagotchi Fest will be held in the most exciting city of Tamagotchi Planet. It will be up to the player to help Prince Tamahiko turn Tamahiko town into a lively place fit to welcome the festival.
Enjoy a total of 12 different shops around the town’s plaza, from returned classics found in the Corner Shop series like the Dentist, to new establishments like the Afternoon Tea Shop, the Eyewear or Galette shop. Each shop will bring its own mini game with unique gameplay and serving clients well will increase the reputation of shops, attracting more than 100 Tamagotchi customers to meet!
We expect that Bandai Namco will reveal more information about each of these titles in the near future, but at the very least Bandai Namco will be releasing a wide variety of games throughout the year.
