Last month TMS Entertainment announced that in celebration of Detective Conan approaching its 30th Anniversary a selection of episodes would be making their way to Netflix and Crunchyroll in the United States. Well, rather surprisingly, those episodes have also been added to Netflix in the UK.
As it stands nine episodes have been added to Netflix in the UK, all of which are in presented in both dubbed and subbed formats. These episodes provide viewers with a variety of different cases that Conan has found himself within, and also offer a way for viewers to familiarize themselves with characters within the series.
Episode List:
The Roller Coaster Murder Case
The Kidnapping of the Company President’s Daughter
Ten Gran Robbery of the Black Organization
The Girl from the Black Organization and the University Professor Murder Case
Re-encounter with the Black Organization (Haibara’s Part)
Re-encounter with the Black Organization (Conan’s Part)
Re-encounter with the Black Organization (The Resolution)
Mysterious Passenger (Part 1)
Mysterious Passenger (Part 2)
Of course it is not the optimal way to watch the series, but it is an interesting selection. That being said subtitled episodes of Detective Conan are available to stream on Crunchyroll with over 500 episodes currently available (including the ones listed above).
TMS Entertainment also did mention a “Detective Conan: Cinema Saturdays” campaign on the TMS YouTube Channel, in which films from the Detective Conan franchise would be available to watch for a limited time. This is also a US targeted promotion, which starts on 12th July 2025 from 7pm PT (which is 3am on Sunday 13th July 2025 in the UK), but may also be available to UK viewers.
