Celebrate 30 Years of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION at Hyper Japan Festival in London with a Special Exhibit & Panel

As part of the Hyper Japan Festival taking place this weekend at the Olympia Events in London, attendees will not only be able to experience a special EVANGELION exhibit, but they will also be able to see Mahiro Maeda as part of a special talk and drawing session on 19th July 2025.

Mahiro Maeda is a  director, animator, designer, and cartoonist who is most known for his work on is known for his work on EvangelionGunbuster (1988), Blue Submarine No. 6 (1998-2000), Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo (2004). on 19th July 2025, at 2:45pm on the Mahiro Maeda will appear on stage with Helen McCarthy to discuss his career in anime as well as a special live drawing session.

Additionally, at the festival, attendees can explore the legacy of EVANGELION through a specially curated exhibition. This booth is expected to feature original storyboards and timeline panels that highlight the evolution of the series. But that’s not all, as Limited Edition merchandise (including T-Shirts and Posters) will also be available to purchase while supplies last.
