Marvelous Europe, in partnership with Marvelous Inc, First Studio and XSEED Games, have recently released a Developer Diary for the upcoming mecha-combat game Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, which launches 5th September 2025 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, with it highlighting the dramatic story within the game.
As described in the press release, the developer diary features Daemon X Machina Series Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda discussing his experience with mecha franchises during his early career and his inspiration for creating the original Daemon X Machina game on the Nintendo Switch. The developer diary also goes beyond the original game to share how the development team is utilizing the latest tools and technology themselves to improve the game, such as leveraging 3D printing technology to get a fresh perspective on armor designs beyond a 2D screen, ensuring each piece of equipment is unique and, just as importantly, “cool.”
As a reminder Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is a fast-paced mecha action combat game in which players will be able to build, customize, and enhance their mecha-styled suit as they progress through an entirely new story set in a dark sci-fi world. This newest trailer provides players with an overview of the customisation features, in which players will have five armor slots and six weapon slots to bolster their suit with each offering different stats.
