…Yep, it was a beach episode.
Impressions:
Well, it was indeed a beach episode. I expected nothing but the cast in swimsuits and got exactly that, so I wouldn’t call it a disappointing episode necessarily, but they could’ve just done some straight up Keijo stuff or something instead of the bare minimum. It’s also always exasperating in these RPG world things to have the super arrogant characters bragging about what is clearly mediocrity. A sentiment to no doubt revist five times over with the next glut of RPG cheat world shows in a month.
The last couple minutes were a bit weird as it contained all the swerves. The new dude is now a superfan of Toto, and his sidekick is some random monster. Hard to call those twists or significant plot developments, but you can sort of see the vision… had they not been stuffed at the end of the episode as something to deal with next week. And… uh… girls in swimsuits.
