DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 Announced for 2027 Release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & Steam

The previously announced DRAGON BALL Project Age 1000 is officially known as DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 and its heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & Steam in 2027. The announcement was made during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 event in LA, of which also saw updates for other Dragon Ball games and anime series, being given.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 takes place in Age 1000, several decades after the timelines seen in previous Dragon Ball games, and will see players guided into the ranks of the Great Saiyan Squad as you create your own character and fight alongside allies. Specific details for the games story and gameplay have not yet been revealed, but the newly revealed anime-come-game engine trailer shows the city, new characters and a familiar face. It’s all a bit mysterious, so it will be interesting to see what this installment has to offer.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 is planned for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & Steam with more details to be revealed at a later date.
