Sparks of Tomorrow to Receive Worldwide Premiere at MCM Comic Con in London Next Month with Q&A Panel and Signing Session Planned

Anime Limited have recently announced that the Kyoto Animation produced anime series, Sparks of Tomorrow, will receive its worldwide premiere at MCM Comic Con in London on Saturday 23rd May 2026 as part of a special panel with director Minoru Ota and producer Ryona Kuyama.

Animated by Kyoto Animation, Sparks of Tomorrow is adapted from Hiro Yuki’s light novel of the same name and follows the story of a boy and girl who seek the future through the power of electrical in a world clouded in mystery. The anime series is set to stream worldwide on Netflix in July 2026, but at MCM Comic Con in London Episodes 1 and 2 will be screened before a Q&A panel with the director and producer of the series. Following on from the panel a signing session will also take place.

Sparks of Tomorrow marks the directorial debut of Minoru Ota and will begin simulcast streaming on Netflix globally in July 2026 with further details to be announced.

Those attending MCM Comic Con in London will be able to experience Episodes 1 and 2 of this new series for themselves on Saturday 23rd May 2026 at 2:45pm with the Q&A panel discussion taking place straight after it. On the same day, from 5pm until 7pm, a signing session will take place. MCM Comic Con in London meanwhile is due to take place between the 22nd May and 24th May 2026 with tickets available to purchase through the official website.
