The first part of UNDEAD UNLUCK was due to be released today, 22nd June 2026, however updated product listings at both online retailers and AllTheAnime Store now have the sets releasing on two different dates in July.
The difference in release date is due to two editions of the set being released, with the Collector’s Edition receiving a longer delay compared to the Standard Edition. As a reminder the Collector’s Edition contains the Blu-Ray set with 3 Art Cards and a 20-page booklet in a rigid art box.
The Collector’s Edition, which is expected to be an AllTheAnime Store Exclusive, is now set to be released on the 27th July 2026.
The Standard Edition meanwhile, which will be available at retailers such as Amazon UK, Anime-On-Line, HMV and Rarewaves, now displays the release date as 13th July 2026.
It is unclear what has caused the delay, although I would assume a delay in production of some kind as it effects both sets, but as of yesterday the old release date (22nd June 2026) was still being listed at some retailers.
Regardless, UNDEAD UNLUCK – Part 1 is now scheduled to be released on the 13th July 2026, for the Standard Edition, and 27th July 2026, for the Collector’s Edition.
