No Why hello there once it was may now we are September,

About time for a much watching update because I have been busy since May so this post might be a long one. Spring is looking gorgeous across the valley I live in, rural as it looks and brings with it a renewal Spring itself does. My watching has been all over the shop so hoping you’ll find variety this time so let’s get into it this time round!!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

Why would Fullmetal end up on this list??? Well just within the last week I have started watching it for the first time ever with my boyfriend. We both had seen the original but never experienced the Brotherhood so were both very late to the game but we intend to complete. Of course there will be a full podcast on this extremely popular series. . . but don’t come for me because it’s taken me so long. . . . .

Sayonara Lara

Mermaid anime in 2026 you didn’t think I wasn’t going to get on top of this. I am like wow to this series following the original children’s story but clearly twisting the formula here. Lara our mermaid girl finding love in the 21st century seems to not be going the route I imagined and I love to my maybe conclusion idea. The animation is something to give all the spill on, everything was hand drawn by the creator while also giving that 90s animated vibe. It is sublime. This series is so endearing and fantastic qualities definitley a fish out of water series to be watching this season.

The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Power

The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom ended up being alright in the end when I last reported in my diary entry and here I am again geared towards females being abused and married off to a duke, knight , tyrant. What is the appeal? Well. . . I am a female and my romance tendencies tends to take over, in this case of seasonal I am enjoying this series quite a bit not as campy. Carolina the main girl neglected by her family, horrid people and she got my heart strings but the girl has backbone and open of her true hate for her sister. It’s been a while since I liked a series like this: Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex was the last one.

Outlaw Star

Where there is seasonal watching there will be oldies and I am enjoying taking my time through this classic. I’ll admit it took me a quarter a way in for me to get into things but the adventure has taken off in Gene’s new ship with his misfit crew and keen to see what conclusion this series will have. It has all the classic of 90s anime, hilarious dub, charismatic cast of characters, plenty of adventure and quality of gasping humor. It’s easy why so many love it and the exact 90s watch I was looking for.

Carried by the Wind: Tsukikage Ran

It’s been so long since I found a gem and I think I have found one. .  . about a female wandering samurai who will remind you of Rurouni Kenshin but she has way more flare and attitude. The first episode had me in stitches honestly, it is such a silly series focusing on the everyday happenings of our samurai’s life along with her sidekick she picks up along the way. It’s been so long since a series made me laugh hard out of the blue and what it has going for it as a early 2000 series saids why this era has some interesting series you’ll find.  This was a great brain turn off!

Spy x Family S3

There wasn’t a too longer gap with series because we don’t long long longggg gaps with shows like this! I really enjoyed this season but in particular learning of Lloyd background. Also that progression of the plot is going somewhere, I don’t mind the off focus on every day life but it was good things are chugging along again. Can Lloyd and Yuri just get together already!?!

Sparks Of Tomorrow

Kyoto Animation are back! Following a dream for two brothers dream of bringing the technology of electricity to the 21st century when it rolls around. I am hit or miss currently with the show, the comedy level is good and silly which is I like in humour. The plot itself is veering itself off course at times and different sequences of animation throw me off when they randomly pop up. But the series has a hold on me and I want to see the conclusion. It possesses the old silly kyo ani style which I do like but I understand might throw others off.

Kaiju Caramelise Girl

Oh my stars!! How much I love this show. Ive read a few volumes of the manga and more than excited for this to receive adaptation! A girl turning into a Kaiju because she doesn’t know what to do with her feelings is hilarious but cute at the same time. Then we have a banger of an opening theme that correlates with it all so well. I have loved saving these episodes each week, perfect romance and comedy dose cutest series on this seasonal block.

I haven’t address the amount I am watching still here it’s more than 15 shows lol but I am in a multitasking phase and can easily keep up. The I’ll go through a phase of watching one singular show. I am hoping next couple of months to do least 5 rewatches of something, I miss some of my older shows! Hope you enjoy the read and until next time!

See you next post!
