Stick a fork in this franchise.
Impressions:
Thank the gods it’s over. An atrocious ending, but I can’t say that I expected any different. The tree absorbed whose-her-face and then… I guess started doing evil tree stuff. What is evil tree stuff? Hell if I know. Red lights, I guess. Which means that it’s time to repeat the shelling of the tree, but this time, with friendship. You can tell it’s emotional by the insert song, and hallucination of a dead sister telling her to do her best. For a character who has done nothing and has no presencen or purpose for the last ten episodes. To defeat a tree. That’s not even attacking them. Great job, team. We definitely needed another three side conversations with Hayate to accomplish this botanical assault.
Somehow, I don’t think they’ve successfully revived the Nanoha franchise with this one.
