Can the season of meetings end already?
Impressions:
Starting out with a recap of how little has happened this season was not a good omen. From there, into a debriefing, into a strategy session, into a solo brainstorming session… which itself was an excuse to re-recap. This episode was entirely unnecessary. It could’ve started from Whose-His-Face being haunted by PTSD and little would have been any different. Especially since, having glanced at the manga, this battle that’s about to start goes for another 13 chapters, so either they’re going to speedrun the absolute hell out of it, or pad things out even more. Or I guess, just randomly end at an unfinished point and say “go buy the manga!” None of these prospects excite me.
